Sunday Mass

The Parish Mass

The Parish Mass at 10:30am on Sunday morning is our main act of worship.

We like to think of our style as 'catholic with a smile', so expect incense, the occasional bell being rung and robes being worn by the priest and servers.  Do NOT expect stuffiness or old fashioned formality.  We take worship far too seriously to do it without joy!

All who are baptised and normally receive Holy Communion in a church of any denomination are welcome to do so here.  If you are not baptised or haven't received Communion before, but think you would like to do so, please speak to the vicar and we will get things sorted for you.

We have a wonderful choir at St Mark's who support our worship with a large repertoire of Mass settings.

Children are very welcome here.  We don't have a creche or Sunday School at the moment but encourage children to be themselves in the service.  We don't mind noise or movement.

Coffee, tea, sherry and cake are always served after the service and we would love to get to know you over a cuppa.
