Our worship is centred on the Eucharist and this give an understanding that our lives are sacramental - being an outward sign of the grace that God gives each one of us.
We hope that regular visitors and new visitors to St Mark's will discover a thriving, friendly and inclusive church where hospitality and worship are central to our life and work. We welcome all who
come seeking and hope that people will come to a closer relationship with God both during and outside worship. Our worship and spirituality is traditional and is centred on the Parish Eucharist. This
gives rise to an understanding that our lives are sacramental - being an outward sign of the grace of God's presence in each person.
You can download our Mission Action Plan which is reviewed by the PCC annually and against which our budget is set.
Worship by definition should be ‘All-age’ and all are welcome at the Parish Eucharist. Children meet for Sunday School for half an hour during the service in term time and there is a Junior Choir
which sings twice each month.
Our life together is not just about worship, but about learning to be a community together and offering hospitality. So, we have lots of social events from a Burns’ Night dinner through to an annual
Cabaret, a Harvest lunch and hope to resume our monthly choral evensong followed by a curry in the vicarage.
We also host many concerts including two recent performances by Nicola Benedetti.
This is a place where all people are welcome and we really hope that you will join us when you can.
